Delete Account
This page explains how a Jas Wallet user can delete their account and initiate deletion of related data either through the app or through support.
How to Delete an Account in Jas Wallet
- Open the Settings section in the app.
- Go to Security.
- Select Delete account.
- Confirm deletion in the warning dialog.
If the user has access to the app, this is the primary and recommended method.
If the App Is Not Accessible
- Send an email to support@jasaim.kz.
- Use the subject line: Jas Wallet Account Deletion.
- Provide information that can help identify the account, such as email, username, or other profile details.
- If necessary, the support team may request additional information to confirm account ownership.
What Happens After Deletion
- Access to the user account is terminated or restricted;
- Account data and related user data are deleted, deactivated, or anonymized within a reasonable period;
- Certain technical, legal, or security records may be retained longer where required by law or necessary to protect the service;
- Local app data on the device may also be cleared as part of the deletion process.
What Users Should Know
- Some app functions will no longer be available after deletion;
- If the user deletes the account inside the app, the action may be irreversible from the user-access perspective;
- If the request does not contain enough information to identify the account, support may request clarification;
- If certain data must be retained by law or to protect legitimate interests, deletion may not occur immediately.
